How a controls project works

Site survey. We walk the building, inventory the existing controls, meters and equipment, and learn what you need to see and control.
Design and proposal. An open-protocol design that reuses what is worth keeping, with a written scope, schedule and price.
Installation and integration. Controllers, gateways and the web console are installed and commissioned with your IT department involved from the start.

What is the difference between TALON and other Siemens platforms?

TALON is Siemens' open-protocol building automation line, built to integrate with third-party equipment over BACnet, LonTalk and Modbus and with the Niagara framework. It is designed for buildings that need one system across mixed equipment rather than a single-manufacturer plant.

Can TALON take over our current Honeywell or Johnson Controls system?

In most cases, yes. We migrate existing installations from Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Trane, Alerton, Delta, Distech, Automated Logic, Schneider Electric, TAC, Robertshaw, Siebe, Invensys, Barber-Colman, Teletrol and American Auto Matrix, keeping field devices where they are sound.

Do you service Siemens systems you did not install?

Yes. As a certified integrator we service, upgrade and monitor existing Siemens TALON installations in the Twin Cities.
